the los angeles galaxy are an extremely fast team, who like to use long passes from the midfield, and high crosses into the goal area from all areas of the field. players to watch are lalas, a solid defender who comes forward and uses his size (1.84,98 kilos) near the goal. lalas is a former usa international.

also young player glinton, extremely fast, great goal scorer. the two leading scorers for galaxy are cobi jones and carlos ruiz. they have yet to play in this tournament, the coach choosing to play younger talent. if the game is close, look for ruiz or jones to enter the game. ruiz led the american league last year in goals, and jones is a three time world cup veteran. the goalie is kevin hartman, very solid.

the galaxy like to attack, but they make mistakes through some inexperience. torpedo should have good chances on fast counter attack.
