Tottenham reported considering move from White Hart Lane

LONDON, March 4 (Reuters)(DS) - The new owners of English premier league
club Tottenham Hotspur are considering moving the club from its famous
White Hart Lane home, a British newspaper reported on Sunday.

Corporate entertainments group ENIC, who recently bought out the stake
of majority shareholder Alan Sugar, believe they may have to build a new
stadium as part of a review of off-pitch business conducted by the north
London club.

David Buchler, the new executive vice-chairman of Tottenham, told Sunday
Business: "We will be looking at all the operations as well as the ground.

"We will think about what improvments can be made, how to make them
and whether, in the lomg term, the club needs to consider a purpose-built
stadium wich will house the supporters who cannot get into home matches
at the moment."

White Hart Lane has a current capacity of 36,236. The club has been
based there since 1898.
