Third-placed Lokomotiv added three points to their account beating city rivals Torpedo 3-1. Lokomotiv's Dmitry Loskov opened the scoring in the 15th minute but Torpedo's Igor Semshov equalised three minutes later.
However, the railway-backed side's teenage forward Marat Izmailov, who has been
called up to the Russian squad for the friendly with Greece on August 15, put
Lokomotiv ahead again in the 40th minute.
His teammate, Nigerian striker James Obiorah, scored Lokomotiv's third with eight minutes from time to secure the win.
