Honours even in Moscow derby

The Russian Premier-Liga restarted on Saturday with FC Torpedo Moskva stretching their lead at the top of the table despite dropping points in a thrilling 3-3 draw away to city rivals and defending champions PFC CSKA Moskva.

Pulsating derby

A pulsating derby saw CSKA jump into a 2-0 lead through goals from Jiri Jarosík and Ivica Olic, but Torpedo hit back in stunning fashion, rocking the home side with three goals in a three-minute burst from the 67th minute that seemed to have swung the game the leaders' way.

Lebedenko double

Igor Lebedenko scored twice before Igor Semshov put Torpedo in command, but the latter then missed an excellent chance soon after to put the result beyond doubt.

Kirichenko leveller

And Semshov and Torpedo were made to pay in the closing stages by the in-form Dmitri Kirichenko, scorer of the fastest goal in a UEFA European Championship in Russia's recent 2-1 win over Greece, whose precise drive earned CSKA a share of the points.
