Korona win 3:0 and promoted to semifinal. In legia played black man Dickson Choto, defender from Zimbabwe. Choto played fauld many times and in one moment Piechna was nervoused and irritated and called him: You black monkey! For Legia it was great lose, because they was eliminated from cup. Coach of Legia imagine differents problems why his team losed. Two days after match Choto said in press that Piechna called in that way to him. Piechna sais, that it rally took place, that he said in that way to Choto, because he was irritated and nervous and the refree do nothing. Piechna apologized Choto and he was punished by polish football association - he had to pay 5000 PLN (about 1250 euros). And all. He was normal man, any racist. Sorry for my poor english Piechna`s transfer to Torpedo is the biggest transfer in history of our club. Your club payed about 650 000 euros! He played in Korona two seasons, he played in 73 games and scored 50 goals in league and cups. One year ago He was best striker in polish second league - 17 goals and - after promotion to Orange Extraklasa (our first division) best striker with 21 goals. Piechna was best striker in every league where he played! From six league to first league! It`s Unreliable! Before he went to Korona in june 2004, he played in HEKO Czermno in third league (where of course was the best striker - 23 goals :)), In october 2005 r. Piechna played first (and for today - last) match for Poland - in Ostrowiec against Estonia. And - of course - he scored one goal and Poland won 3:1. In Poland many people thought, that Piechna should go to WM 2006 to Germany, but coach Pawel Janas didn`t take him. Piechna is strange forward... His technic was... rather poor, but he has Unreliable instinct of striker. he very good play head. He is strong and brave and therefore Korona`s fans love him.
